How To Use

To get started with this template, follow these command-line steps:

  1. Clone the repository:
    $ git clone https://github.com/karlgrossmann/two-column-portfolio
  2. Navigate into the directory:
    $ cd two-column-portfolio
  3. Install dependencies:
    $ yarn install
  4. Run the application locally:
    $ yarn dev
    (The live version will be available at localhost:3000)
  5. Build the application for production:
    $ yarn build
Customization Steps
  1. Modify the website's title and description in app/layout.js.
  2. Personalize your details by editing translations/en.json. You can add an arbitrary number of entries for experiences (including skills), education, volunteering, and projects. The "About" section supports multiple paragraphs by creating multiple entries in the General:about array.
  3. Replace app/favicon.ico with your preferred favicon.
  4. (Optional) Adjust the color palette in tailwind.config.js.
  5. (Optional) Update the imprint and privacy statement as required by your country's regulations.
